chief minister Bhupesh Baghel has written a letter to prime minister narendra Modi regarding the problems

being faced by the general public due to problems like irregular running of trains, their cancellation at any time

and charging of fare for express trains even from the passengers of passenger trains. He wrote in the letter that

many long distance trains and local passenger trains passing through chhattisgarh state are being canceled by the

Railway Administration without any prior notice for a long time. Due to which anger among train passengers is

increasing.

The cm wrote that despite several requests to the Railway Administration and the Central Government, the

situation is not improving. The public mind is extremely agitated due to the indifference of the Central

Government on this issue of widespread public interest. He wrote in the letter that the main reason for the

disorganized operation of passenger trains is the increase in the number of goods trains carrying minerals from

the state to other states and they are given priority in operation compared to passenger trains. Another reason for

the dissatisfaction of the passengers is that the Railways is charging express train fare from the passengers of

passenger trains also.

cm Baghel made this request to PM narendra Modi

Along with this, the chief minister said that there is no such disorder and anarchy in the operation of passenger

trains in any other state of the country. Due to timely solution of such a serious issue of the state, anger and

dissatisfaction is increasing among the people of the state. cm Baghel has requested the prime minister to show

sensitivity towards the sufferings of the people of the state and provide necessary instructions to the Railway

Ministry to restart the operation of all passenger trains without any further delay and to stop trains being late for

hours. So that the widespread dissatisfaction and agitation of the public can be ended.
