Poster war - Modi as ‘Jumla boy’, rahul as ‘Ravan’..?

The battle between the congress and bharatiya janata party (BJP) on social media heated up on thursday as the election season drew near, with both parties waging a poster war against one another. While the congress circulated posters labelling narendra modi as the "biggest liar," the bjp responded by referring to rahul gandhi as "Ravan." The statement "PM narendra modi as Jumla boy" was scribbled on a picture of PM Modi and amit shah that was uploaded on wednesday by the official X account of the Congress. Going to hit the election rally soon, the party captioned the image.

Another post had PM Modi's image next to "Me" and the question "Who is the biggest liar" written on it. As a result, the bjp retaliated against the congress party strongly. The saffron party posted a picture of rahul gandhi on X with the caption "Bharat khatre mein hai (India is in danger)" and a picture of Ravana with several heads. "Ravan of the new age is here. He's evil. Against the law. Contra Ram. He wants to destroy India," the bjp captioned the image. While this was going on, the leaders of the opposition parties blasted the bjp for its "unacceptable" billboard of rahul Gandhi.

Jairam Ramesh, the communications director for the congress, questioned the true motivation behind the "atrocious graphic" depicting gandhi as Ravan and claimed that it was "clearly intended to incite and provoke violence."
