Aam Aadmi party (AAP) mla Amanatullah Khan from Okhla, delhi has reacted to the Enforcement
Directorate (ED) raid. After meeting chief minister arvind kejriwal on wednesday, Amanatullah Khan said
that ED raided his house. My entire house was searched for 12 hours but they did not find anything. Earlier
also acb had investigated my house, even then they did not find anything, even now they have not found
anything. They have taken away one of my mobile phones and given me the receipt.
It is noteworthy that ED on tuesday searched several places linked to AAP mla Amanatullah Khan. An
ED source confirmed that agency officials conducted searches at premises linked to Amanatullah Khan. The
source said the agency’s action was in connection with the Waqf Board case. However, the officials
remained silent on the matter.
ACB had arrested Amanatullah Khan
This action of ED took place after cbi and acb of delhi Government registered a case in Waqf Board.
ACB had arrested AAP mla Amanatullah Khan in september last year. This action came a few days after
the ED arrested the party’s rajya sabha mp sanjay singh last wednesday in an alleged liquor scam case.
Sanjay Singh is in ED custody
AAP mp sanjay singh was arrested after ED raided his house. At present sanjay singh is in ED custody.
Delhi’s Rouse Avenue court has given Sanjay Singh’s custody to ED till october 13. Earlier on october 5,
the court had given custody for five days i.e. till october 10. Then on october 10, the custody was extended
for three days.
