Many royal families still maintain their dominance in the politics of Madhya Pradesh. Political heirs of many
princely states have been successful in getting tickets in the 2023 elections, but the candidates fighting
against the royal family are being discussed more. congress has fielded Ramgarib Adivasi from Sirmaur
against Divyaraj Singh, the political heir of Rewa royal family. Ramgarib Adivasi, who has studied till 10th
class, has total assets of less than Rs 3 lakh. He had given this information in his previous affidavit.
Ramgarib of BSP cadre has been mla from Tyonthar assembly of Rewa. He joined congress in 2022.
Sirmaur, considered a stronghold of communists, has been in the possession of the Rewa royal family since
2013. Not only Ramgarib, many such candidates from ordinary backgrounds are in the news in Madhya
Pradesh, who have the responsibility of ending the politics of the state.
Hirendra Singh divided against Jaivardhan
BJP has fielded Hirendra Singh Bunty Banna against Jaivardhan Singh, the political heir of Raghogarh
princely state and son of former cm Digvijay Singh. Hirendra was earlier in congress, but joined bjp after
the 2020 rebellion. Hirendra's father Mool Singh Dadabhai had been an mla from Raghogarh and was
considered a political advisor to Digvijay Singh. When Jaivardhan came into politics, Mool Singh was the
MLA of Raghogarh, but on the insistence of Digvijay, he gave this seat to his son. Hirendra is also the
district vice president of Guna BJP. He has also been a member of Guna district Panchayat. Raghogarh seat
has been dominated by the Diggi royal family since 1977. Digvijay Singh and his brother Laxman Singh
have also been MLAs from this seat. In 2013, when Digvijay Singh campaigned for Jaivardhan, he made a
big announcement here. Diggi raja had said that I will campaign only once for Jayavardhan. After this know
it yourself.
