Reportedly the director of karnataka State Okkaliga Sangh, Gangadhar C of mysore filed a complaint against Prof. KS Bhagwan, a thinker, for making derogatory statements against the Okkaliga community. The police registered a case under IPC section 153 and 153 A. A complaint has been filed at Devaraja police station in mysore against background thinker Prof. KS Bhagwan for making derogatory statements against the Okkaliga community.
Gangadhar C from mysore, director of the karnataka State Okkaliga Sangh, filed a complaint against KS Bhagwan's statement. The police registered a case under IPC section 153 and 153 A. The NCR had recently registered a case against Prof Bhagwan sriram and the Okkaliga community for making a derogatory statement. A notice was issued to Prof. Bhagavan in this regard. Okkaliga organizations had expressed outrage against the action of the police who did not make arrests despite making derogatory statements. Okkaliga organizations across the state took to the streets and protested to arrest Bhagwan. The police have now registered an FIR. During the Mahisha festival organized by the Mahisha dussehra Committee in the City Hall premises, Bhagavan had spoken derogatoryly and called the Okkaligars uncultured and animals. He protested strongly in front of Bhagwan's house against Bhagwan's statement.
