155 forms submitted on the second day
Chief Electoral Officer Anupam Rajan said that nomination papers were filled on monday in all 230 assembly
constituencies of the state for madhya pradesh assembly elections. On october 23, the second working day of
filing of nomination papers, a total of 155 nomination papers were submitted by 137 candidates in the state. Mr.
Rajan said that october 30 will be the last date for filling nomination forms. Nominations will be scrutinized on
October 31. The last date for withdrawal of nomination is 2 November. The voting process will be completed in
a single phase on november 17 in the entire state. Counting of votes will take place on december 3.
