After the announcement of tickets for madhya pradesh assembly elections, another former bjp minister is
showing rebellious attitude. Moti Kashyap, who was defeated from Barwara in the 2018 elections, has hinted at
rebelling against bjp and contesting as an independent candidate. He has received nomination papers from the
District election office as an independent candidate. Let us tell here that Moti Kashyap Manjhi is considered a
strong leader of the society. Moti Kashyap was made the minister of Fisheries Department in the Shivraj Singh
Chauhan cabinet formed after the 2013 elections. This time the seat of Moti Kashyap was also changed. He was
fielded from Barwara reserved seat of Katni district. But in the 2018 elections, former state government minister
Moti Kashyap had to face defeat.
Moti Kashyap will submit nomination papers as an independent candidate.
Former minister Moti Kashyap had also sought bjp ticket from Barwara seat this time, but the party made
Dhirendra Singh its candidate in his place. Now Moti Kashyap has adopted a rebellious attitude. He has received
nomination papers as an independent candidate from the district election office of Katni. While talking to the
media, Moti Kashyap said that he will submit nomination tomorrow thursday (26 October) or day after
tomorrow friday (27 October).
So the path to BJP's victory in Barwara will become difficult.
Due to this step of Moti Kashyap, there is a situation of panic in bjp till Bhopal. It is being said that if he does
not change his decision then the path to BJP's victory in Barwara will become difficult. This may affect the
surrounding seats also. Moti Kashyap is counted as a big face of Manjhi community. Manjhi community has
approximately 33 thousand votes on this seat. In such a situation, Moti Kashyap's displeasure will prove costly
for BJP. A few days ago his son has also resigned from BJP.
