There is a ruckus going on among political parties regarding the upcoming assembly elections in Rajasthan. On
one hand, congress is dominating the proceedings of ED, while on the other hand, bjp has raised questions on the
last 5 years of tenure of Congress. In such a situation, after the announcement of the candidate by the parties, there
is a phase of opposition against them. Talking about 28 assembly seats of Mewar and Vagad, bjp has decided its
22 candidates while congress has decided its 14 candidates. The special thing is that in this, candidates have been
declared on most of the tribal reserved seats, while on some general seats there is waiting and on some there is
opposition.
Face to face contest fixed for 10 seats so far
Rajasthan assembly elections are to be held on 25 November. In such a situation, only 29 days are left for the
elections to begin. Whereas out of 28 seats in Mewar and Vagad, the contest has been decided between bjp and
Congress for only 10 assembly seats. That means both bjp and congress have declared their candidates on these
10 seats. It includes Salumber, Kherwara, Nathdwara, Dungarpur, Pratapgarh, Nimbahera, Ghatol, Kushalgarh,
Jhadol and Bagidaura. The candidates here have already started campaigning and are roaming in their areas.
Both parties are considering general seats
Out of 28 seats in udaipur division (Mewar-Vagad), 17 seats are reserved, while 11 seats are general. If we talk
about bjp, it has not declared its candidate for Mavli of udaipur, Vallabhnagar, Bhim of Rajsamand and Begu of
Chittorgarh district. Whereas congress has not fielded its candidates in general seats like Rajsamand,
Kumbhalgarh, Chittorgarh, Begu, Badisadri. There is a dilemma on the general seats of both the parties. At the
same time, protests have intensified in the seats where candidates have been fielded.
