assembly elections are going to be held in rajasthan on 25th November. The results of the assembly elections
will be released on december 3. As soon as the election date was announced on october 9, the code of conduct
has been implemented in the entire state. The police is in action mode amid the assembly elections as per the
instructions of the election Commission, which is committed to conduct elections with transparency, free from
fear and money power.
After the implementation of the code of conduct, till now the police has seized cash, liquor, narcotics and
jewelery worth Rs 200 crore from Rajasthan. Allegedly which was to be used to influence voters in the elections.
As soon as the elections for the assembly elections in rajasthan were announced on october 9, the code of
conduct came into force in Rajasthan. Inspector General of police Vikas Kumar said that we have seized Rs 214
crore so far. This includes Rs 25 crore in cash, Rs 20 crore of liquor and jewelery and gold worth Rs 20 crore. He
said that apart from this, medicines, petrol diesel and illegally stored fertilizers worth Rs 60 crore have also been
seized from different districts. All this was to be used to woo voters.
Storm Club created for monitoring
Storm Club of a team of 12 officers has been formed under the leadership of IPS officer Vikas Kumar. Through
this, efforts are being made to ensure that voters are not influenced by the candidates during the campaign for the
November 25 elections. rajasthan police is taking successful action. In such a situation, the state police has
achieved many successes. For example, the state police seized Rs 200 crores on the 19th day itself, which was Rs
65 crores seized in 60 days in the last elections.
