Sources added that in the assembly elections to be held on november 25 in Rajasthan, congress and bjp have so far fielded at

least 29 candidates who are relatives of leaders or from political families. Out of 200 assembly seats, BJP

has so far announced candidates for 124 seats and the ruling congress for 95 seats. bjp has given tickets to

at least 11 people who are family members of prominent leaders in its two lists of 124 candidates.

At the same time, congress, which has announced 95 candidates so far, has also given tickets to 18 people

coming from political families. The bjp list includes sons, daughters, granddaughters and daughters-in-law

of many prominent leaders. The list has given due attention to the family members of those leaders who died

due to health problems. bjp has given ticket to ram Swaroop Lamba, son of late mp Sanwar Lal Jat, from

Nasirabad seat and Shailesh Singh, son of late former minister of State Digambar Singh, from Deeg-Kumher

constituency.

He had earlier also contested the lok sabha by-election from Ajmer and lost to raghu Sharma of Congress

by a margin of 80,000 votes. bjp has fielded Vijay Bainsla, son of gurjar leader Kirori Singh Bainsla, from

Deoli-Uniara seat. diya Kumari, granddaughter of former mp and former jaipur royal family member

Gayatri Devi, has been given the ticket from Vidyadhar Nagar. Siddhi Kumari, granddaughter of former MP

Karni Singh, has been given ticket from bikaner East seat.

Ticket to Deepti Maheshwari from Rajsamand

BJP has fielded Jhabar Singh Kharra, son of former mla Harlal Singh Kharra from Shrimadhopur. Manjeet

Chaudhary, son of former mla Dharampal Chaudhary, has been given the ticket from Mundawar. Jyoti

Mirdha, granddaughter of former mp Nathuram Mirdha, has been fielded from Nagaur. Kanhaiya Lal

Meena, son of mla Gautam Lal Meena, will be seen contesting elections from Dhariyavad. Deepti

Maheshwari, daughter of former minister Kiran Maheshwari, has been given ticket from Rajsamand. Also,

Sumita, daughter-in-law of mla Shriram Bhinchar, has been given ticket from Makrana seat.
