The court directed the Central Forest and Environment Department to conduct a further inquiry into the report given by the committee appointed by them. Directing the Center to submit a report on this within three weeks, it adjourned the hearing to november 28.


Meanwhile, in Rushikonda, when permission was granted for 9.88 acres, petitions were filed asking why excavation was carried out in 20 acres. At the stage of investigation, the government claimed that 3 acres more excavation than permitted had been taken up. But the center intervened after the petitioner alleged that excavations were carried out beyond that. A survey was carried out at Rushikonda. Recently, in the wake of the High Court's order, there are chances of the Central Forest and Environment Department once again entering the field. Earlier, the committee appointed by the high court had also given a report to the court that constructions beyond the permission were being carried out on Rushikonda. In the wake of cm Jagan's announcement that he will soon relocate to Visakhapatnam, the High Court's issuance of key orders has become a priority.
