assembly elections are going to be held in rajasthan on 25th November. Regarding this, the nomination process
is going on all the seats in the state. bjp and congress have not yet announced candidates on some seats.
Talking about Mewar, bjp has announced 10 Bir candidates in 11 general seats in 28 assembly seats of the
region. bjp has not yet declared any candidate for the only Mavli assembly seat. The important thing is that the
name of state president CP Joshi, who represents 200 assembly seats of bjp across this seat, is doing the rounds.
What is the caste equation behind this, which is being discussed vigorously in the political circles. Let us know-
Candidates declared for 10 out of 11 general seats
bharatiya janata party has declared candidates for 10 out of 11 general assembly seats of Mewar. In this, 3
Rajput, 3 Jain, 1 Dangi, 1 Rawat, 1 Sindhi and 1 dhaakad community candidate have been given tickets. From
here, as usual, tickets are given to Brahmins from Mavli assembly, due to which the entire caste equation fits in
well. Current bjp mla Dharmanarayan Joshi has backed out to contest elections from this seat.
Attempt to cultivate Brahmin community
After the withdrawal of bjp mla Dharmanarayan Joshi from the election, bjp does not have any big Brahmin
face from here. This is the reason why there is discussion about making the name of bjp state president CP Joshi
a candidate in the elections from this seat. The reason behind this is that CP Joshi comes from Mewar and is a
Brahmin face. This seat is also considered a big stronghold of BJP.
