Tuesday night, rain washed across parts of Hyderabad. The india Meteorological Department (IMD) in hyderabad reports that there will probably be additional rain in the city today. The meteorological service has predicted thunderstorms for this evening in the city and has issued a yellow alert.

Rainfall hits some areas of Hyderabad

Yesterday, Serilingampally experienced heavy rainfall, receiving the highest recorded rainfall of 42.3 mm. Chandanagar also received significant rainfall of 37.5 mm.

IMD forecast for hyderabad this week
The IMD predicts that hyderabad will have some light rain tomorrow as well. On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, however, there won't be any precipitation; instead, the mornings will be characterized by mist and haze. The telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS) predicts that Hyderabad's lowest and maximum temperatures will be between 20 and 22 degrees Celsius and 30 and 32 degrees Celsius, respectively.

Hyderabad saw a cumulative rainfall of 769.5 mm during the southwest monsoon season of this year, which was more than the city's average of 615.4 mm. Certain regions of the city had regular rainfall, despite the city as a whole seeing "excess" rainfall.

The mandals in hyderabad that had rainfall deviations over the city average were Shaikpet, Maredpally, Charminar, Asifnagar, Nampally, Khairatabad, Secunderabad, and Tirumalgiri.
