Khategaon assembly seat. Brahmin community has a lot of influence on this assembly seat. For this reason,

congress candidate could win this seat.
24 percent voters from Scheduled Tribe category on this seat
After 30 years, congress has full faith in deepak Joshi, who rebelled against the bharatiya janata party and
joined them, whereas bjp has fielded ashish Sharma, who has been mla from the same seat twice, for the
third time and has set the stage for victory. In Khategaon assembly seat, Scheduled Tribe category has 24
percent voters, while scheduled caste category has 14 percent votes here. According to senior journalist Kirti
Rana, who is knowledgeable about politics, after many decades, a strong leader of the congress party and a
member of the gandhi family has knocked in Khategaon.
