The video of congress mla from Kunkuri assembly in Jashpur district of Chhattisgarh, UD Minj, arguing
with a woman and snatching her mobile phone had gone viral. After which the woman complained to the
police stating that her life was in danger. Not only this, to get justice for the woman, bjp candidate from
Kunkuri vishnu Deo Sai along with his supporters had blocked NH by gheraoing the police station. Now
taking action on this matter, the police have registered a case against more than half a dozen Congress
workers including current Kunkuri mla UD Minj for misbehaving with the woman. At the same time, the
police has also registered a case against bjp candidate Vishnudev Sai, who surrounded the police station and
blocked the NH, for violating the code of conduct.
Actually, a woman named Manju Bhagat told that at around 8:30 pm on Sunday, a large number of people
had come to her house and entered inside the house. It was being said from their side what work she is
doing. After this they left with the photo. Then Kunkuri mla UD Minj came from behind, he said what did
your bjp do, see whether the scheme of Rs 15 lakh came into your account. The mla was saying this.
During this time, my mobile was snatched from my hand saying that I was making a video and I was asked
to kill. In the application given in the police station, it has been stated that there is a threat to his life and he
wants action.
Case registered against Congress-BJP candidate
Meanwhile, bjp also became aggressive regarding this issue and on Monday, bjp candidate from Kunkuri
Vishnudev Sai along with his supporters gathered in large numbers and surrounded the police station and
also blocked the NH. After which, on Tuesday, Kunkuri police has registered the crime of violation of code
of conduct on the complaint of the returning officer against more than half a dozen congress workers and
bjp candidate vishnu Dev Sai, including mla UD Minj, who misbehaved with the woman.
