Reportedly before the rajasthan assembly elections, bjp has started taking action against the rebels. bjp has expelled

former assembly Speaker Kailash Meghwal from the party. The party has taken this action against him for

contesting the elections against the candidate fielded by BJP. After giving tickets from Bhilwara, bjp asked the

independent candidates to withdraw their nominations. But many leaders did not withdraw their nominations,

after which the party has taken this action. rajasthan BJP’s State Disciplinary Committee chief Omkar Singh

Lakhawat has issued orders in this regard. In his order, Lakhawat wrote that Kailash Meghwal, being a primary

member of bjp, filed his nomination as an independent candidate from Shahpura in Bhilwara.

Kailash Chandra Meghwal is the oldest member of the rajasthan State Assembly. When he contested the

elections he was 84 years old. Kailash Meghwal of bharatiya janata party has also been a Union minister in the

past. In the 2018 assembly elections, he contested from Shahpura (SC) constituency of Bhilwara district. Here

he surprised everyone by registering victory.


Have held many big positions

Meghwal had won this election against Congress's Mahavir prasad by 74,082 votes. Born on 22 march 1934,

Meghwal is educated till MA. He has won many elections in his career and has also held the post of Rajasthan

assembly Speaker.
