Mules (donkeys) have also entered the madhya pradesh assembly elections. In fact, the election material will

be delivered through these mules on the roads where vehicles cannot ply, for this the administration has

booked 5 donkeys. Due to lack of road in the polling booth Baragaon, which falls in Chichli block of

Gadarwara assembly constituency of Narsinghpur district, vehicles cannot reach here.Under Baragaon polling

station, voters of Talaiya, Bhataur, Patkana, Kukri, Pani, Kumhikheda and PiplaTola along with Baragaon

vote. To reach these villages and hamlets one has to cross inaccessible hills. vehicles cannot run on these. As

a result, the district administration is delivering voting material to these villages through mules.

Mule for hire

The district administration has taken five mules on rent from mule farmers of Baragaon. From today, these

mule rearers will reach the polling station along with the polling parties, carrying voting material on mules.

EVMs and other material will be kept in these mules. These mules will walk through inaccessible hills to

reach the polling station.

Voting decreased in five years

Let us tell you that the number of voters increases every five years everywhere, but due to lack of facilities the

number of voters is decreasing in these villages. In the 2018 assembly elections, there were 720 polling

places, now only 685 are left. These include 350 male and 335 female voters. Most of the population in these

villages belongs to the Bharia tribal community, who are forced to live a difficult life.Let us tell you that 65

thousand 523 polling booths have been made across the state for 230 assemblies, polling teams will leave for

these booths. The election commission will monitor all the vehicles of the polling parties through GPS

system.
