Tribal woman died who was marginalized by Nehru..!?
A tribal woman who was ostracized for life by jawaharlal nehru has died. Budni Mejan, the tribal 'wife' of jawaharlal nehru, a lifelong ostracist from her community, passed away on friday night (November 17) at her home near Panchet in Jharkhand. He was 80 years old when he died. According to reports, the Santali woman suffered a heart attack and was cremated on sunday (November 19). Currently, he has a 60-year-old daughter, Ratna, and a grandson, bobby (35). local politicians and officials thronged to pay their respects to Putni Mejan. Panchet panchayat President Bhairav Mandal has written to the Damodar Valley Municipal Corporation (TVC) to set up a memorial in memory of Jawaharlal Nehru's 'wife of the tribals'.
