Minister Senthil Balaji's judicial custody has been extended till december 4. minister Senthil balaji was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on june 14 in the case of illegal transactions. The madras Principal Session ordered him to be remanded in judicial custody. Accordingly, he has been lodged in Puzhal Jail, Chennai. Meanwhile, as per the order of madras high court, Senthil Balaji's bail plea has been dismissed by the madras Primary Sessions court twice. Also, while Senthil Balaji's court custody has been extended 10 times in a row, it has now been extended again for the 11th time.



When Senthil balaji was produced before the court, the madras Principal Sessions court extended his judicial custody till november 22 (today). Accordingly, as his judicial custody ended today, he was produced again in the Principal Sessions court of chennai through video. The court heard the case and extended the judicial custody of minister Senthil balaji till the 4th of December. Earlier, considering Senthil Balaji's health, a petition was filed in madras high court seeking bail. However, the madras high court rejected his bail plea saying that it cannot accept his bail plea on medical grounds. Against this he has appealed to the supreme Court.


The supreme court, hearing the bail appeal filed by minister Senthil balaji, ordered the submission of his medical reports and adjourned the hearing to the 28th.
