Senior haryana congress leader Kumari Selja has cornered the bjp government at the Center regarding the
NCRB report. He posted on X and wrote that according to the latest report of the National Crime Records
Bureau, there has been a significant increase in oppression of Dalits and tribals. This report clearly shows that
the mentality that bjp is developing in this country is acting as a mite to the foundation of our country. Along
with this, Kumar Shailja has posted a graphic, which shows an increase of 46.11 percent in crimes against Dalits
as compared to 2013. Apart from this, an increase of 48.15 percent has been shown in crimes against tribals.
National President of congress also cornered BJP
At the same time, congress National President mallikarjun Kharge has also criticized the bjp central
government by posting on X regarding the report of National Crime Records Bureau. He posted on X and wrote
that the latest report of NCRB is not just statistics. bjp is a black letter to make the life of SC-ST community
unsafe. Injustice, atrocities and repression are part of the conspiratorial agenda of bjp to divide the society for
the last decade. The continuous oppression of Dalits and tribals exposes the hypocrisy of BJP-RSS about “sabka
saath”. Kharge said that congress has been criticizing the government over the increasing crimes against Dalits,
tribals, sc and st communities in the country.
14.3 percent increase in crimes against ST
According to the data of the year 2022, at least 10,064 cases of crimes against STs were reported. An increase of
14.3% was recorded in crimes. The crime ratio was 8.4 percent in the year 2021, it increased to 9.6 percent in the
year 2022.
