With a political career spanning 40 years, k. chandrashekar rao (KCR), the chief of the telangana rashtra samithi (TRS), will be at the centre of this noteworthy scenario. kcr, from his early days in the Basic Co-operative Society to holding key ministerial positions in the united state, has seen a remarkable journey.

Siddipet, KCR's own constituency, holds historical significance. Winning unopposed on behalf of tdp from 1985 to 1999, kcr later founded trs in 2001 with the goal of achieving Telangana. His political journey included victories, resignations, and strategic moves, eventually leading him to become the chief minister of telangana for nine and a half years.

In the recent elections, kcr contested two assembly seats, Gajwel and Kamareddy, a departure from his previous electoral strategies. Despite losing in Kamareddy, KCR's position as the leader of the BRS legislative party was confirmed, making him the main opposition leader with the support of 39 MLAs.

This transition to the opposition marks a significant shift for kcr, who spent the past two decades in the ruling party. However, due to a fractured hip bone, kcr is currently hospitalized, and his return to the assembly as the leader of the opposition is expected after a recovery period of around eight weeks.

The upcoming budget meetings in february present the prospect of KCR's return to the assembly as an opposition MLA, a role he has not assumed for two decades, adding a compelling dimension to his enduring political saga.
