Leader of Opposition in delhi Assembly Ramveer Singh Bidhuri has once again expressed deep anger over the

pollution of yamuna in the capital. He said that it is surprising that in the report of delhi Pollution Control

Committee of delhi Government itself, yamuna water has been declared poisonous. The amount of oxygen in

water has been found to be zero. Reminding delhi Chief minister arvind kejriwal of his promise, he has asked

when will he take a dip in Yamuna?

It is better to call yamuna water as drain water.

Ramveer Singh Bidhuri said that this year the water in yamuna reached record level. The water level of Yamuna

went two meters above the danger mark. So much water of yamuna came to delhi that all the dirt was washed

away in it. Now within three months in November-December the situation is such that yamuna has completely

dried up. delhi Pollution Control Board has written in its report that now the situation is such that there is not

even enough water at Okhla Barrage to test it. Wherever there is some water, it is so dirty that it should be called

drain water instead of yamuna water.

No oxygen in water

Leader of Opposition in delhi Assembly Ramveer Singh Bidhuri said that nature had cleaned yamuna in the

form of floods. After that, delhi government should have prepared some long term and some short term plans to

keep yamuna clean, but delhi government does not have time for such works. The report of delhi Pollution

Control Board states that oxygen was found missing at most places in the water taken from Yamuna.
