Chief minister of madhya pradesh, Jagdish Deora belongs to the scheduled caste of the state. He was born on 1
July 1957 in Neemuch district. Jagdish Deora is a social worker and lawyer by profession. He started his political
career from his student days. In the year 1979, he was the President of the students Union in Government
College. After this he worked on many posts in BJP. Jagdish Deora is considered to have a strong hold on the
Scheduled Caste voters of the state.

In the year 1990, Jagdish Deora was elected mla for the first time in the ninth assembly of Madhya Pradesh.
After this, he was also elected mla in the tenth assembly in the year 1993. After winning the assembly elections
for the fourth consecutive time in 2003, he was made the state minister. After this, in the year 2008, Jadish Deora
was made cabinet minister in Shivraj government by giving him the charge of many important departments
including transport, jail, planning. Jagdish Deora has been mla for 7 consecutive terms. He served as a minister
three times in the mp bjp government and held the responsibility of many important ministries.
