After BJP’s bumper victory in madhya pradesh assembly, people’s eyes were fixed on the next Chief Minister.
After 8 days, on monday (11 December), three-member observers held a meeting with the legislative party in the
capital Bhopal. After a long discussion in this meeting, the name of Mohan Yadav was approved as the next CM
of the state. On the lines of Uttar Pradesh and chhattisgarh, bjp has also appointed a chief minister along with
two Deputy Chief Ministers in Madhya Pradesh. Mohan Yadav will replace Shivraj Singh Chauhan as the Chief
Minister, while Rajendra Shukla and Jagdish Deora will be the Deputy Chief Ministers. Apart from Uttar Pradesh
Assembly elections, after karnataka assembly elections, Himachal Pradesh, bjp has now contested Assembly
elections in rajasthan, chhattisgarh and madhya pradesh without a cm face. The name of the chief minister has
been approved in chhattisgarh and madhya pradesh, while the name of the next cm of rajasthan is expected to
be announced soon. bjp has surprised everyone by announcing the name of cm in the states where it has won the
assembly elections so far. After the announcement of the cm and two Deputy CMs, the curiosity of the general
public to know about them has increased.
Who is Rajendra Shukla?
He surprised everyone by appointing Rajendra Shukla, an engineer by profession, to the post of Deputy Chief
Minister. Rajendra Shukla was born in 1964 in Rewa. Newly appointed deputy chief minister Rajendra Shukla
comes from Brahmin community. He is considered to have a strong hold on Brahmin voters. He belongs to
Baghelkhand region of Madhya Pradesh. Rajendra Shukla started his political career from student life, in the year
1986 he was the President of the students Union in government Engineering College. In the year 1998, newly
appointed deputy cm Rajendra Shukla had contested the assembly elections from Rewa, in this election he had
to face defeat from congress candidate Pushpraj. But the margin of his defeat was very less.
