BJP’s legislature party meeting was held in madhya pradesh on monday to select the name of CM. In this
meeting, the MLAs have approved the name of Mohan Yadav. Mohan Yadav is mla from ujjain South. He has
been the education Minister in the shivraj singh chouhan government. He has won the legislative elections for
the third consecutive time.

When the name of Dr. Mohan Yadav was announced in the legislature party meeting, he was seen touching the
feet of former cm shivraj singh chouhan on the stage and Shivraj Singh blessed him with affection by placing
his hand on his head. Mohan Yadav is a big OBC face of bjp in Madhya Pradesh. His name has probably been
announced keeping in mind the 2024 lok sabha elections. Mohan Yadav's educational qualification is PhD. He
was given the responsibility of education Minister in 2020 and he remained on this post till 2023.
Political career till now
58-year-old Mohan Yadav's political career sort of started in 1984 when he joined the akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi
Parishad. He is also a member of RSS. He had contested elections from ujjain South in 2013 and has been elected
MLA from here for the third consecutive election. This time he defeated congress candidate chetan Premnarayan
Yadav by 12941 votes. Mohan Yadav got 95699 votes.
Dr. Mohan Yadav is an experienced leader of BJP.
The announcement of Mohan Yadav's name is no less than a surprise for the people of ujjain because his name
was nowhere in the race for the post of cm, but his name was announced in the legislature party meeting. He has
been the Chairman of ujjain Development Authority from 2004 to 2010 while he has held the responsibility of
Chairman of mp State Tourism Development Authority from 2011 to 2013.
