It is said that the service offered by airtel in association with google Taara will be a tough challenge to reliance Jio. google tara is the laser internet technology developed by Google. In 2016, the google tara project came into being. This technology enables fast transmission and reception of data in the form of thin invisible beams.

Project Taara:

Light beams and links are created to travel between tara terminals. This allows data to be exchanged at high speed. Mirrors are used to combine and align the light rays.

Airtel plans to use this Tara technology for its 4G and 5g services. This Tara technology is trying to provide connectivity to areas where fire connections are not available. However, this technology is said to be less effective during inclement weather.

If airtel can successfully implement this plan, it is expected to be a tough competitor to reliance Jio in high-speed internet service. It remains to be seen what mukesh Ambani's reliance Jio will do to counter this.
