An audio clip went viral on social media on Thursday, in which bjp mla Babanrao Lonikar can be heard

allegedly abusing ncp leader and former maharashtra minister Rajesh Tope in connection with a cooperative bank

election. Lonikar has denied abusing. However, he once again accused Tope of breaking a promise regarding the

Central district Cooperative bank elections held on december 2. Tope's relative Satish Tope has been elected the

vice president of the bank while BJP's Bhausaheb Jawale has been elected the vice president.

What did mla Babanrao Lonikar say?

Lonikar claimed, 'I did not use abusive language. Tope has not kept his promise and has betrayed BJP. As per our

agreement with Tope, the post of vice president should have been given to someone from bjp from Mantha or

Partur. According to media reports, in the 1.26-minute recording of the telephone conversation between them, the

two leaders are discussing the elections of Jalna district Central Cooperative bank, where Lonikar's son rahul is a

contender for the post of vice president. In the audio clip, Tope can be heard asking Lonikar to drop his son's claim

to the post after a meeting with Danve (Union minister of State Raosaheb Danve who is the mp from Jalna) and

Arjun (Shiv Sena leader Arjun Khotkar). There was discussion on this.

Refused to abuse

The audio clip went viral on social media after which Lonikar has denied abusing anyone. He said, “This is not my

voice. I have not misbehaved with anyone.
