
The Income Tax Department is now searching for buried treasure in the residence of congress Rajya Sabha MP
from Jharkhand, Dhiraj prasad Sahu. This is being detected through geo surveillance at his bungalow Sushila
Niketan in Ranchi. An Income Tax team reached his residence on tuesday evening with the Geo Surveillance
machine. After switching off the lights in the campus, the machine was used to check the inside, outside, garden,
parking area and sewerage pipes of the residence. Income Tax Department officials suspect that gold, diamonds,
jewelery and other valuables have been hidden underground in the house. Even on Wednesday, the team checked
every corner of Sushila Niketan with the machine. It is not known what the result was. CISF has been deployed
during the ongoing search in this bungalow.
Income tax department team got investment accounts details
It has been told that many documents related to properties and business, details of investments and accounts have
been recovered from the residence of Dheeraj Sahu, which are being examined. Meanwhile, information has been
received that ED is also preparing to start investigation in the case of recovery of Rs 354 crore cash and jewelery
etc. found from Dheeraj Sahu's industrial units and different locations in Odisha. A senior ED official met the
Income Tax team in bhubaneswar and took information about the entire matter. After this returned to Delhi. The
Income Tax Department is also investigating the use of hawala operators to siphon off money from Sahu's
companies and investment in shell companies.
