Before the upcoming lok sabha elections, the national leadership of congress has started a crowd funding campaign named (Donate for Desh) to collect donations online from 18th December. Big leaders of congress are participating in this campaign. In this series, former chief minister of madhya pradesh and rajya sabha MP Digvijay Singh has also donated to the party by becoming a part of the Donate for the Country campaign. Former cm Digvijay Singh himself has given this information on the official social media account X (earlier Twitter).

Former chief minister and rajya sabha MP Digvijay Singh wrote on social media platform X that under the scheme, I have deposited Rs 1,38,000/- in the congress account yesterday. Appealing to the people to donate, he said that if you also want brotherhood and peace in the country, the indian Constitution should be made, the rights of the poor, SCST, farmers and laborers should be maintained, congress should keep fighting against injustice and atrocities. You must cooperate.

Crowd funding campaign started from 18th December

Let us tell you, the country's oldest political party congress will celebrate its 138th foundation day on 28th December. The national leadership of congress has started the crowd funding campaign on 18 December, 10 days before the Foundation Day.
