Tokyo olympics bronze medalist wrestler Bajrang Punia decided to return his padma shri on friday (December 22) in protest against sanjay singh becoming the president of WFI. He has written an open letter to prime minister Narendra Modi regarding this. Meanwhile, sakshi Malik held a press conference on thursday (December 21) regarding the matter and announced her retirement from wrestling. Apart from this, Vinesh Phogat while sharing the poem wrote that I will not ask for a boon. What did Bajrang Punia say?

In a letter to PM Modi, Bajrang Punia wrote, “Prime Minister, hope you will be healthy. You will be busy serving the country. Amidst your busy schedule, I want to draw your attention to the country's wrestling. He wrote, “You must be aware that in january this year, female wrestlers had made serious allegations of sexual harassment against Brij bhushan Singh. I also joined his movement. When the government talked about concrete action, the movement stopped. Expressing his disappointment, the wrestler wrote, “But no FI was registered against Brij bhushan for three months. We again started protesting on the streets in april so that the police would at least file an FIR against him.”
