Politics has intensified over the decision of chief minister Dr. Mohan Yadav to remove the BRTS (Bus Rapid Transit System) corridor in bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. Senior supreme court advocate and congress rajya sabha member vivek Tankha has welcomed this decision of the government. During this, he demanded from the government that the bureaucrat's hobby had created this public inconvenience and it should be investigated in a time bound manner. rajya sabha member vivek Tankha said that crores of public funds have been wasted in this. It is expected from you (CM Mohan Yadav) that you will definitely order an investigation.
Meanwhile, in Jabalpur, deputy chief minister Rajendra Shukla has also given a big statement on the BRTS corridor. Rajendra Shukla said that "If any work needs to be reconsidered for betterment then it can be done, there is nothing serious in it." He said that "if it is felt that the BRTS corridor is causing inconvenience to the public, then it can be removed."
What did the state government say on BRTS?
Let us tell you here that madhya pradesh government has decided to remove 'Bus Rapid Transit System' i.e. BRTS from the roads of bhopal on tuesday (26 December). An official release said that in the meeting of elected representatives chaired by chief minister Mohan Yadav, it has been decided that BRTS will be removed to improve the traffic system on the roads of Bhopal. BRTS was created to provide dedicated lanes for public transit buses. Actually, BRTS was implemented in bhopal about 15 years ago. A large part of it passing through densely populated areas had already been removed. Now it has been said in the government release that on the demand of local public representatives, it has been unanimously decided that BRTS should be removed from all the roads.
