On the instructions of cm Dhami, it has been decided in the interest of the state and in the public interest that till the submission of the report of the Land Law Committee or till further orders, the district Magistrate will not propose to allow outsiders to purchase land for the purpose of agriculture and horticulture in the state of Uttarakhand. Will not allow. Earlier, cm Dhami had given instructions to carry out the land deeds after verification of the land due to the buyer purchasing the land before the land deeds. Now after these orders, it is once again believed that in uttarakhand there will be illegal activities of outsiders. It will be difficult to purchase land.

cm Dhami gave instructions

Taking a high-level meeting regarding land law, chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has instructed the officials that a large-scale public hearing should be conducted by the committee formed for land law and opinions of people and experts from various fields should be taken. Garhwal and Kumaon Commissioners should also be included for decentralized system for land law.

According to the amendment made in 2004 in Section 154 of the Uttar Pradesh Zamindari and Land System Act 1950, such persons who are not holders of immovable property in the state of uttarakhand before december 12, 2003, are given permission by the district Officer to gray the land for agriculture and horticulture purposes. There is a provision to be made. At present, a drafting committee has been constituted by the state government to prepare new land laws for the state of Uttarakhand.
