Speaking to reporters, India's External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir jaiswal said the court's order was kept confidential. However, it has been confirmed that all indians are no longer on death row. Last month, a Qatari court commuted the death sentences of eight ex-Indian marines in a major relief. The death sentence was commuted after an appeal against the verdict by another court in the country. Qatar's top court sentenced the marines to death on october 26. Then imprisonment from 3 years to 25 years has been imposed.
They worked for Al Tahra, a private company, and were arrested in august last year in qatar for alleged espionage. However, neither the Qatari side nor the indian side have disclosed the details of the allegations against them.
