Reportedly the temple trust has canceled the city tour program of the Dev Deity proposed on january 17 before the consecration ceremony of ram Lalla in the grand ram temple being built in Ayodhya. An official of the Trust said on monday that the program of roaming the statue in the entire ayodhya city has been cancelled. Instead, the Trust will arrange for a tour of the statue inside the ram Janmabhoomi temple complex on the same day (January 17).
Meanwhile he said that on the advice of security agencies, the Trust has canceled this proposed program due to security reasons. The decision to cancel the program was taken by the officials of Shri ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust after a meeting with the Acharyas and senior administrative officials of Kashi. According to the ayodhya administration, it was discussed in the trust meeting that when the new idol of ram Lalla is taken to the city, devotees and pilgrims will flock for darshan and it will be difficult for the administration to control the crowd. Let us tell you that on january 22, the ram temple will be inaugurated and ram Lala will be consecrated. Many dignitaries including prime minister Narendra Modi have been invited to this program. Apart from this, 4000 saints have also been invited to the program. On january 22, after 12 noon, the idol of the child form of Lord Shri ram will be consecrated in the ram temple. The process of consecration of life will start from january 16 itself.
The idol of ram Lalla will be consecrated under the leadership of two scholars from Kashi. According to Trust General Secretary Champat Rai, the invitees for this program have been advised to come to ayodhya from january 22 so that proper arrangements can be made for their stay.
