Focus on water catchment development and land conservation
In the first meeting itself, the Agriculture and Horticulture minister approved the restructuring of the posts of engineering cadre in the Watershed Development and Soil Conservation Department after the merger of new districts. Drip and mini sprinklers will be installed in 27 thousand hectare area and sprinklers will be installed in 54 thousand hectare area.
