Reportedly Chinese Manjha became a feast for a family on the festival of makar sankranti in Asnawar police station area of Jhalawar district of Rajasthan. While kite flying on the day of makar sankranti, a 12 year old child lost his life due to a Chinese float. Whereas in Kota city, 50 people were injured due to Chinese Manjha, out of which the throat bone of many people was cut and their lives could be saved after the operation. The condition of 5 of the injured persons is said to be critical. A Chinese manjha got entangled in the neck of a 12 year old child who was flying a kite outside his house in the old population area of Asnawar police station area of Jhalawar. Meanwhile, the child got a deep wound in his neck due to being pulled by other children who were flying kites there. After this, the child was immediately taken to the primary hospital of Asnavar, where the doctors referred him to Jhalawar after first aid. In Jhalawar, doctors declared the child dead after examination.
Hospital outpost in-charge Mahendra meena told that 12-year-old Surendra, a resident of the old population area of Asnawar, was flying a kite outside the house. Meanwhile, the kite string got stuck around the child's neck. The child suffered a deep wound in the neck due to Manjha getting stuck, after which the family took the child to the district hospital, where Surendra's son dilip Bhil was declared dead by the doctors after examination.
Moreover in Bundi district, an elderly man got a deep wound due to a Chinese manjha getting stuck in his neck, after which his life was saved by an operation. Also, in Sathoor village, an elderly man riding a bike got a deep wound in his neck from a Chinese manja. A young man also got a deep injury on his neck from a Chinese Manjha. Let us tell you that despite the instructions of the court, Chinese Manjha is being sold at hundreds of places in Kota-Bundi. The district administration has made efforts to stop the spread of Chinese Manjha by forming teams, but despite this, Chinese Manjha is being sold indiscriminately in the markets.
