After the defeat in the assembly elections in rajasthan, the congress party is now making bold moves in the name of State President and leader of Opposition. Govind Singh Dotasara has been retained as state president. After this decision, a discussion has started within the congress in rajasthan where after the defeat in the assembly, there was an expectation in the congress party that the state president would be changed. But the high command has not given its approval to the change of the state president. Govind Singh Dotasara comes from Sikar district and now the party wants to establish him as a big Jat leader in the state. Especially, there are preparations to increase their influence in Jhunjhunu, Sikar and Churu in Shekhawati region. Even though congress has lost in this election, the party feels that Dotasara has proved to be better. Because of him Jats have voted for Congress. To give a tough fight to bjp in the lok sabha elections, congress has again appointed Govind Singh Dotasara as congress President.

Something similar happened in the year 2018 also

congress had won the assembly elections held in rajasthan in 2018. During that time, sachin pilot used to be the state president but in the 2019 lok sabha elections also he was the congress President. congress may have won the assembly elections but suffered a crushing defeat in the Lok Sabha. BJP's victory margin was huge in seats dominated by Jat voters. At that time also there was a demand to replace sachin pilot from the post of State President. This time too, after the defeat in the assembly elections, murmurs of changing the congress President had started. But like last time, this time too the high command continued the same practice.

This is the decision of the high command

rajasthan congress party General Secretary Swarnim Chaturvedi says that the high command has approved the name of the president. Everything is better. Senior journalist of rajasthan Narayan Bareth says that the party has given a big message by appointing Govind Singh Dotasara.
