Amid preparations for Republic Day in the national capital, pro-Khalistan slogans have been found written on a pillar in nihal Vihar area of West Delhi. delhi police has been in action since this information surfaced in the public domain. At the same time, intelligence agencies have become alert. This matter has come to light at a time when preparations for Republic Day are at their peak in Delhi. Like every year, this time too the responsibility of security arrangements rests with delhi police and other security agencies. All security agencies are ordered to remain on alert mode till the end of Republic Day. At present, pro-Khalistan slogans have been confirmed in nihal Vihar.

What is written on the pillar?

According to delhi police, a case has been filed on tuesday regarding this incident. A senior police officer said that some unknown person had written SJF, january 26, Khalistan on the pillar. The officer said that the area where these slogans were found is very deserted. Hardly anyone comes there. We suspect that someone had written these slogans on monday night. police is busy investigating this matter.

A case was registered in this regard on Tuesday. police said they are continuing to examine CCTV footage of the area to identify the person who wrote the pro-Khalistan slogans. According to media reports, slogans written in support of Khalistan were also found in Chandra vihar area of Delhi. Gurupatwant Singh Pannu, a Khalistan supporter and associated with Sikh for Justice, had warned against hoisting the Khalistani flag on the occasion of january 26.
