The families of 19 out of 59 kar sevaks killed in the 2002 Godhra train fire in gujarat will attend the consecration ceremony on january 22 at the Lord ram temple in Ayodhya. An official of vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) gave this information on Saturday. He said that other invitees from gujarat include 320 saints and 105 eminent members of the society.
Families of 19 kar sevaks will participate in the consecration ceremony.
VHP's gujarat unit general secretary ashok Rawal said, “The families of the kar sevaks who were killed when two coaches of the Sabarmati Express train were set on fire by miscreants near Godhra railway station are also among the invitees. These kar sevaks were returning from ayodhya to ahmedabad by Sabarmati train. He said that VHP was able to contact the family members of 20 kar sevaks, out of which 19 have confirmed to attend the ceremony in Ayodhya.

ashok Rawal claimed that VHP had collected Rs 225 crore for the construction of ram temple. The Godhra fire incident took place in february 2002, in which 59 kar sevaks were killed. This incident led to the worst communal riots in the history of gujarat in which more than 1,000 people were killed.
