Dr. Jagdish gandhi, founder of CMS school located in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, died on sunday at the age of 87. He was ill for a long time. There has been a wave of mourning after his death. He was ill for quite some time. He was undergoing treatment at Medanta Hospital. After which he breathed his last this morning. In a statement issued by the family, it was said that after 25 days of struggle, our dear Dr. Jagdish gandhi passed away on the morning of 22 january at the age of 87. The gandhi family has said that for those who wish to have their last glimpse, his mortal remains will be kept in the auditorium hall of CMS Gomtinagar Extension campus on january 23 from 2 pm to 5 pm. After this his last rites will be performed.


Life influenced by mahatma Gandhi

Dr. Jagdish gandhi is considered a brilliant educationist. He has made an important contribution in the field of education. Dr. Jagdish gandhi was born in Barsauli village of Aligarh. Since childhood, he was greatly influenced by the lives of mahatma gandhi and raja Mahendra Pratap. He did City Montessori school with his wife Satvik Gandhi. Which is now very popular and also known as famous CMS.


Dr. Jagdish gandhi started CMS school in the year 1959 with only five children. education here is from first class to twelfth. The children of this school give very good results every year. Since 1999, the Guinness World Record for the largest school in the world is in the name of CMS. In the year 2014, he was also honored with the yash Bharti Award, the highest award given to a citizen by the Uttar Pradesh government.
