Jayalalitha's jewels should be handed over to TN government..?!

In the judgment given by Special court Judge H.A. Mohan regarding this case, I think it is better to hand over the jewels to the tamil Nadu government through the home Department of the tamil Nadu government instead of auctioning them. Accordingly, the tamil Nadu government should appoint a person in the rank of secretary along with the police. He has directed the tamil Nadu government to appoint competent persons and take the jewels. The court ordered the chief manager of state bank of India's chennai branch to send a demand draft (DD) for Rs 5 crore in the name of the karnataka government and to the head of account through the special public prosecutor. The five crore rupees will be paid towards the expenses incurred by the karnataka government in investigating the cases against Jayalalithaa, her close aide V. Sasikala, stepson Sudhakar, and J. Ilaakshasi.In connection with the case, Special Public Prosecutor kiran Javali recently said that the special court had received information about the fixed deposits in bank accounts related to Jayalalithaa. “The total was a little over Rs 6 crore. He had informed that Rs.5 crore will be sent to the government through DD.In 1996, the Anti-Corruption Department registered a case against the former chief minister of tamil Nadu, J. Jayalalithaa, for adding more property than her income. In the search conducted at the Boise Garden residence of former chief minister Jayalalithaa, her jewelry and movable property like gold, diamond jewelry, silverware, and wristwatches were seized. Social activist narasimha Murthy had filed a case in the special cbi court in Bengaluru demanding that the proceeds from the auction of Jayalalithaa's properties should be used for welfare projects. Similarly, Jayalalithaa's nephew J.Deepa also filed a plea that she has the right to Jayalalitha's confiscated belongings and that they should be handed over to her. The Bengaluru cbi Special court, which heard these cases, in its verdict issued yesterday, ordered that the seized property of former chief minister Jayalalithaa be handed over to the tamil Nadu government. All these are now kept safe in the karnataka treasury.
