A controversy has arisen regarding the name of the political party started by actor Vijay as tamil Nadu

While actor Vijay's political entry has been much debated, he has launched a new political party. Actor Vijay has said that he has started a political party based on the idea of fully helping the people of tamilnadu and the tamil society, and has named his political party 'Tamilaka Vetri Kazhagam'.

Actor Vijay's launch of a political party has been garnering mixed reviews. In particular, there has been a controversy over the name of his political party being tamil Nadu. With the tamil Nadu political climate, he has made the name Kazhagam appear in the name of his party.

While the bjp is constantly talking about 'Tamil Nadu without Kazhagam', Vijay has added the name Kazhagam to his party. This has angered the bjp party. At the same time, the name tamil Nadu instead of tamil Nadu has been criticized in the party. Especially, the DMK.

Because the naming of tamil Nadu was not an easy event. It got that name after a great struggle. However, it is alleged that efforts to tarnish the name tamil Nadu are ongoing.

Journalist Nelson Xavier said in his X page, "Tamil Nadu is the name of this land, taking evidence from associational literature. Actor Vijay has officially started using the word 'Tamil Nadu' which was started by Rajaji and his political successors so that the word tamil 'Nadu' should not go down in history after the governor of tamil Nadu RN Ravi. posted as

Earlier, “There is a different political climate in tamil Nadu. They say we are Dravidians for everything. If there is an all-India action plan, tamil Nadu says no to it. "It would be more correct to say tamil Nadu than to say tamil Nadu," governor Ravi had said at a function.

Subsequently, governor Ravi avoided mentioning the word 'Dravidian Model' and the phrase 'Peace Park tamil Nadu' during the session of the Legislative Assembly. In particular, governor Ravi avoided using the word tamil Nadu. During the pongal festival last year, he had referred to the governor of tamil Nadu as the 'Governor of tamil Nadu' which caused controversy.

In this background, Vijay named his party as tamil Nadu instead of tamil Nadu which has caused controversy. It is said that tamil Nadu and Dravidian people are avoiding the language of tamil Nadu and Dravidian as it is against aryan politics. Within the country of India, only our state tamil Nadu has the name tamil 'Nadu'. That is, a country within a country. They say that because it is a term that refers to a single ethnic group, there are protests.

At first, the situation changed with the demand for a Dravidian nation, and an opinion arose that the name tamilnadu was correct. Later, they point out that our state got the name tamilnadu after many political struggles.

On the basis of linguistic states, since the states of Kerala, karnataka and andhra pradesh seceded from the madras province, the demand to change the name of the madras province arose seriously. Periyar, Shankaralinganar, M.B.O.C, Perarinar Anna etc. raised this demand very seriously.

Speaking in the rajya sabha in this regard, Reverend Anna said, "There is a line in the book Paribadal that says 'Dandamil Veli tamil Nadu Agamellam'. It means the beautiful tamil Nadu surrounded by sea on three sides!” mentioned that. At one stage the then central congress government agreed to call madras State in english and tamil Nadu only in Tamil.

After that, when the DMK came to power in 1967, the decision to stop using the name madras State in english and to mention the name of the state as tamil Nadu in both english and tamil was brought and passed on 18 July 1967. After getting the approval of the central government for this decision, our state is officially called as tamil Nadu.
