In a survey conducted on who should become the next prime minister, 64 percent said that prime minister Modi should come back.


64% of respondents chose narendra modi as the best candidate for the post of Prime Minister. 17% are congress MPs. rahul gandhi has been chosen as the primary choice for the post of Prime Minister. 19% said another prime minister would be their top choice.


The results of a survey conducted by a private company to find out the public opinion on who should become the next prime minister have been released. Accordingly, when asked to choose the leader of the Opposition who they believe would be suitable as prime minister, 19% preferred rahul Gandhi. 15% chose mamata Banerjee.

Also, 12% chose delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, 6% tamil Nadu chief minister M.K.Stalin and 8% uddhav thackeray from Maharashtra. In this survey, 40% said 'none of the above' among those who they consider fit for the post of prime minister.


The election commission of india is yet to announce the official date for this year's lok sabha elections. Earlier last month, the Chief Electoral Officer said april 16 was the proposed date for the lok sabha polls.


The 2019 lok sabha elections were conducted in seven phases. It started on 11th april and ended on 19th May. 67 percent voted.


The results were declared on 23rd May. The BJP-led national democratic alliance won 353 seats in the 2019 lok sabha elections. The Congress-led United Progressive Alliance won 91 seats. Other parties won in 98
