On the other hand, bjp has been winning the Nainital-Udham Singh nagar lok sabha seat for the last two times. This lok sabha seat has been in existence since the 2009 elections. congress had won from this seat in 2009. At present ajay Bhatt of bjp is the lok sabha mp from here. He is the minister of State for Defense in the Modi government.
