According to sources Mohan Yadav government of madhya pradesh has presented the interim budget in the assembly on monday (February 12) for four months. This budget is for four months only, hence it is being called vote on account or interim budget. Meanwhile, chief minister Mohan Yadav said about madhya pradesh Interim Budget 2024 that, 'I am happy that in the interim budget, we have made provision for all sections like agriculture, school education, higher education, public works department, urban development, rural development, health. The amount is almost double that of the government. Our government will definitely work for the welfare of the state.
Meanwhile deputy chief minister and Finance minister Jagdish Deora, after presenting the Vote on Account in the assembly, said that the Vote on Account has been presented for the period from april 1, 2024 to July 31, 2024. The Finance minister further said that we will bring the full budget in the month of July. Let us tell you that Jagdish Deora has presented an interim budget of Rs 1,45,222. Finance minister Jagdish Deora has said that our government is working on Modi's guarantee. We are not coming up with any new plan. All sections have been taken care of in the interim budget.
Moreover former chief minister Kamal Nath has described the Vote on Account as disappointing for the public. The vote on account presented in the madhya pradesh assembly on monday has become a mere financial formality i.e. “Thotha chana, baje ghana”. The Finance minister did not even indicate any plans, let alone an action plan, to fulfill the promises of the BJP's manifesto. It has become clear from this interim budget that the bjp government has more teeth to eat and more to show. The things that bjp says in speeches and advertisements have no ground base. The people of the state have been disappointed with the Vote on Account.
