A decision has also been taken to develop the ghats of madhya pradesh on the lines of ayodhya and Haridwar. The resolution to develop the holy city Chitrakoot as a world class religious and tourist destination and to allow senior citizens of the state to travel to ayodhya for the darshan of Lord Shri ram by air and rail under the chief minister Teerth Darshan Scheme, is a symbol of public prosperity.
