In a departure from the prevailing trend where criticism of Kalvakuntla's poetry was a sensitive subject, congress woman mla Yashaswini reddy boldly employed satirical comments aimed at Kavitha. She is known for her clean image in politics, Yashaswini reddy humorously remarked on Kavitha's initiatives, likening them to a cat that had consumed a thousand rats embarking on a pilgrimage.

Recently, during the joining of numerous BRS leaders from Wardhannapet and Palakurti constituencies to the congress at gandhi Bhavan, Yashaswini reddy made strong comments about Kavita, emphasizing that kavitha has rekindled the vigilance that had been dormant for a long time. She questioned whether kavitha had ever addressed issues concerning women during the BRS government's tenure.

Yashaswini reddy highlighted the congress government's focus on women-centric initiatives, such as the implementation of the first free bus facility, the gas scheme, Rs 500 support for women, and free electricity up to 200 units. Asserting that BRS had committed numerous sins over the past decade, she urged both old and new leaders of congress to collaborate and ensure the party achieves significant success in the upcoming parliamentary elections. Yashaswini Reddy's candid criticism of Kavitakka has garnered attention and admiration.
