Reportedly after UP, maharashtra has the highest number of 48 lok sabha seats. Therefore, all parties are keeping an eye on this state. The dispute regarding seat sharing within the Mahayuti alliance is still unresolved. There are reports that bjp and shiv sena are considering giving 1 to 2 seats to MNS (MNS). MNS is said to have been offered an offer to contest the elections under the Mahayuti symbol, an offer which MNS has reportedly rejected.
Currently preparations are going on in all parties for the upcoming lok sabha elections. This time, there is a challenge in the lok sabha elections due to internal dissatisfaction between shiv sena and NCP. Meanwhile, MNS, which has not yet given any official statement regarding its lok sabha participation, may now also enter the electoral fray. Discussions are going on between Mahayuti and MNS regarding the elections.
Moreover amidst these discussions, news has come out that Raj thackeray has canceled all his mumbai tours. If the talks prove fruitful, MNS is likely to contest the lok sabha elections as part of the grand alliance. Speculations about MNS joining the grand alliance have been going on for several months. Recently a delegation of MNS had met chief minister Eknath Shinde and deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis. However, the matter of seat sharing for lok sabha elections in Mahayuti is still not clear. It is clear that bjp has announced its 20 candidates in maharashtra but the picture is not yet clear on who will get the remaining seats. Now it has to be seen how many seats NCP, MNS and shiv sena get out of the remaining seats. It is being said in a report that bjp is preparing to contest elections on 31 lok sabha seats in Maharashtra.
