As per report Samajwadi party (SP) has released its fourth list for the lok sabha elections 2024. In this list, SP has left 6 seats vacant for its candidate and one seat for West bengal Chief minister Mamata Banerjee's party TMC. SP has left bhadohi seat vacant for TMC, along with this SP has also declared its candidate from Nagina seat.
In its fourth list, SP has made Yashveer Singh from Bijnor, Manoj Kumar from Nagina, bhanu Pratap Singh from Meerut, former mp Bijendra Singh from aligarh, Jasvir Balmiki from hathras, Inspector Saroj from Lalganj as its candidates. With this, SP has left bhadohi seat vacant for Trinamool Congress. SP has also focused on its slogan PDA in its list and has also focused on caste equation. While SP has fielded Dalit candidates from Meerut, Bijnor, Nagina, hathras and Lalganj, it has made a Jat candidate its candidate from aligarh lok sabha seat. So far, SP has announced the names of candidates for 37 seats in UP. SP will soon announce the names of its candidates on the remaining seats also.
In the 2019 elections, SP had an alliance with BSP and RLD. In this election, SP had won 5 seats, however, in the subsequent by-elections, SP lost on two seats. Now SP is fighting this election in alliance with Congress. Now it remains to be seen how many seats SP will be able to win under its PDA formula in the lok sabha elections 2024.
