As per report the formula for distribution of seats in the india Alliance in jharkhand has been decided. Sources said that congress will contest maximum 7 seats out of 14 lok sabha seats. jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) will contest on five seats, RJD on one and cpi (ML) on one seat. Sources said that congress may get Ranchi, Dhanbad, Hazaribagh, Godda, Lohardaga, Khunti and Palamu seats. Whereas JMM can contest elections on Jamshedpur, Chaibasa, Rajmahal, Dumka and Giridih seats. RJD will be given Chatra and cpi (ML) will be given Koderma seat. There is a coalition government of JMM, congress, RJD and Left in Jharkhand. Recently, jharkhand Chief minister Champai Soren and JMM leader Hemant Soren's wife Kalpana Soren had attended rahul Gandhi's mumbai rally. Since then there was speculation regarding the consent of seats.
Previously in the 2019 lok sabha elections, bjp had won 11 seats. AJSU, which is part of NDA, won one seat. congress and JAMA got one seat each.
